Pokemon Creepypasta- Alice

I was running down the street, money clutched in my hand. Finally, I was off to get my own copy of Pokemon Emerald at GameStop. I smiled, thinking about the pokemon I could get.  

I slid into GameStop and fell, heads turned in my direction, but I didn't care. Being the video game addict as I was, Pokemon Emerald was going to be mine today, no matter what. I searched through the Gameboy section and at last there was none. I felt my face burn with pure rage and my hands were in tight fists. I than looked through the used game section. As much as I hated used games, I wanted that game. I sighed and continued looking and found Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire. I gritted my teeth and stomped my foot. They didn't have it and I could feel myself about to scream in anger. I took a deep breathe and left, slamming the door behind me.

I walked back to my house and a chubby teenager caught my eye. In his hands, was a green shape. I approached him. "May I look at your game?" I asked. "Sure," he replied. It was Pokemon Emerald! My heart was racing as I began to exam it. It looked brand new like he took it out of the box and didn't use it. " How much for it?" I asked quickly. "Hmmmmm...10 dollars," The chubby guy answered. I took out the money and handed it to him. I put the game into my pocket and began walking away. "Be careful with it!" He called after me. I didn't even look back at him when he called.

I grabbed my nintendo Ds and yanked Pokemon FireRed out of it. I gingerly put Pokemon Emerald in it since the guy said be careful. I wished the guy told me when he ment. Pushing away the thought, I walked the opening cutscene of Emerald. Afterwards I clicked new game and Professor Birch began talking to me ask me questions. I quickly answered them. Everything played out as normal and went to get my starter pokemon. A small fangirl scream escaped my mouth. The starter pokemon were Magikarp, Mightyena and my all time favorite, Gardevoir. I immediately picked Gardevoir and started my pokemon journey.

After only one hour of gameplay, we already many trainers and I caught a Zigzagoon named Ziggy  and a Poochyena named Poochy. My rival was easy to beat since the game decided to pick Magikarp for them. My Gardevoir, who I decided to name Alice, was my highest leveled pokemon at level 20. She strolled behind me which I thought was unusual.Normally, pokemon stay inside there pokeballs but Alice followed me everywhere and I saw Generations 4 and 5 in here which I found odd.

A few hours later, it was time for me to go to bed. I begged and pleaded my mom to let me stay up but she forced me or she would take away my new game. When I saw my parents car pull out of the driveway, I pulled out my ds from under my bed and turned it on.First thing I did was talk to Alice.

"Alice missed you!"

I smiled and continued walking. I knew it was a good idea to get Alice. I talked to Alice again.

"Alice wants to protect you."

We walked to the forest and a Team Aqua grunt challenged us. Like in every Pokemon game, the first pokemon was sent out. Alice did her cry and the battle began. The grunt had a Poochyena and it used bite. Of course, it was a critital hit and super effective. I watched in horror as Alice's health bar dropped to when the bar turn red. I then tried to switch out Alice.

"Alice wants to protect you!"
The foe's Poochyena then tried bite again but it missed. I wiped the sweat off my forehead as I knew that one attack could of made Alice faint. Once again, I attemped to switch Alice out with Ziggy or Poochy.

"Alice WANTS to protect you."

I was finally frustrated as Alice fainted and I had to use Ziggy and Poochy. We barely beat his Poochyena and reached the next city. I walked into the Pokemon Center and put Alice into the PC box. Out of pure frustation,I clicked her sprite and said release.
"Alice doesn't want to leave! She wants to protect Kasumi!"
"NO!" I finally screamed. "NO! NO! NO! YOUR A HORRIBLE POKEMON! I DON'T NEED TO BE PROTECTED! I HATE YOU, ALICE! LEAVE ME ALONE!"

"Alice was released..."

I sighed. I was sad but I was also happy. That annoying pokemon was finally gone and I was freed of the burden of training her too. All I had left were Ziggy and Poochy and they were underleveled for this gym. As I walked to where the trainers were, I noticed that Ziggy or Poochy didn't follow me but most importantly that their was a trail of blood. Paying no heed to it I continued walking. An Absol then appeared in front of my character. Absol was the diaster pokemon and only appeared when a diaster was about to occur. I walked pass him as his eyes glared into me. He seemed to not even pay attention to my character but me. I gulped but continued. The trail of blood seemed to thicken until if covered up most of the path and a forest loomed over me. Reassuring myself, I walked into it.

The forest was called Shadow Forest and there was Team Aqua grunts everywhere. Many of them were on the ground, blood pools around them .
"Hmmmm, Pokemon seemed to get pretty violent with the game," I told myself.
The game then zoomed up onto a patch of red Roses. Confused, I remained looking at it until I saw that those weren't rose. They were Carnations with blood on them. The cutscene ended and I advanced deeper into the forest.

In the deepest part of the forest, Team Magma and Team Aqua grunts were battling but I saw Max and Archie the leaders of the opposing groups and some of there grunts, circling around an object. It was a Gardevoir when I approached them but not any Gardevoir but Alice covered in blood. She killed them using the move Psychic, that I didn't even know she knew that move. Blood flew across the screen and I could only stare at my Gardevoir. She became a monster.

"Alice is a good pokemon for killing the bad guys?" A yes or no box popped out. I clicked no.

"Alice only wanted to protect you." I snickered.

"Alice used teleport!"

The screen went away from the forest into my room back in New Bark Town. The room seemed went to a blood red color. I saw a black dot in middle of the screen and from the looks of it, it seemed far away. The screen became blacker and blacker until there was only a black screen. Alice then walked towards me and started right into me.

"I am a good Gardevoir. I protected my trainer from Team Magma and Team Aqua," Alice whispered.

Her whispering sent chills down my body and I began to feel fear. I'm not the type of person who gets scared easily but this was over the top for me.
"Does Kasumi love me?" Alice asked. A yes or no popped out. I clicked yes.
"Lies. All lies. You humans are all the same," Alice narrowed her eyes.
" Why!!? Why are we humans all the same!? I WANT AN ANSWER!" I screamed at the DS as tears swelled up.

"That fat boy named Thomas. He picked me as his starter pokemon.We,Gardevoir protect our trainer. I wanted to protect him and I was happy because this was a messed up game. We weren't the right starters.There are newer generations in here. This game moved across the world from person to person. As soon as they saw me, they got rid of the game. But," Alice began. Where her body was green is now black and her white is a dark gray. Alice's eyes were purple.

"But what? What did Thomas do?" I question, thristy for answers.

"He used me. ABUSED me. He though I could get him a Gallade. But no.When he figured that out, he went to get rid of me and thats when you got the game, a few days later," Alice ended.

"Alice. I'm sorry! I am! I didn't know. I didn't know Gardevoir's like to protect their trainer. I didn't know, you were abused. Please! Forgive me!" I cried.

"Its to late for that!" Alice screamed was heard from the speakers and the screen seemed to shatter.

"You are all the same..." Alice last words were heard.

I shuddered.The screen showed a cutscene of Alice's old life, showing the abuse and it ended with a picture of her and me. The picture wasn't of the character but me in real life. I cried for hours that seem like a thousand years.

I looked outside, wondering if my parents were home. I moved the green curtains out of the way and me eyes must have been deciving my but I swear I seen Alice looking at me. She waved,then grinned and finally mouthed, I'll protect you forever.
